Lincoln Wagner | Founder & CEO

I am an undergraduate student majoring in biomechanical engineering. I work for a company that innovates medical devices for researchers and doctors at my University. Replacement limb prosthetics engineering and research is my passion and my future carrer. I created Artifice and this website from scratch to hold all of my future projects, ventures, and ideas.

I also play guitar and watch movies.

The motto at the top of the page is a fitting definition for the word artifice; it also describes the ideas that come from Artifice.

Technology has consistently surpassed our physical abilities since the agricultural revoltion. Now it is beginning to surpass our understanding of its own underlying mechanims. This is the motivation.

One way of solving technological annihilation—whether it eliminates us or vice versa—is to meld with it. Artifice will create artificial phantoms of organic human mechanisms in attempt to acheive symbiosis before technology strays too far from our grasp.

I needed a repositiory for all my projects and ideas. Artifice may turn into a more sophisticated company one day. Currently, it sells nothing and buys nothing.

As for now, Artifice only exists here online and as a social construct.
